Sofia Waldorf-inspired School is a parent-driven advocacy aiming to provide a nurturing educational environment for the Baguio City community based on the Steiner/ Waldorf pedagogy regardless of race, gender, creed or economic status. We aim to nurture well rounded individuals who are knowledgeable, skillful, compassionate and purposeful; children who grow up with a deep reverence for the world and who can act with initiative and freedom in working towards social transformation.

We envision creating a better world one child at a time by providing a healing and truly human education that develops them from the heart, to the hearts,
down to the hands, giving them experiences that would prepare them for life as free thinking, imaginative, heartful and willful adults with balanced intellectual, emotional and will quotients.

We are the only institution that carries this ideology and philosophy of child development and education in Baguio City. Our goal is to prepare children for life by giving them a well balanced educational experience that includes academic, practical and artistic activities that respond and preserve the nature of their particular age.

SOFIA is open to a socialized system of payments where deserving, financially- challenged parents who have less can pay less and offer services to the school instead of full monetary payments, and parents who can pay more can sponsor scholars in the school, provided that the members of the SOFIA community will be able to meet the budget for the whole year.
